Fred DiRisio, Director
Fred grew up in Brea, California, and graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.S. in Biology. From there, Fred graduated from the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy in 1985 and the Butler University in 1991, and is certified in Nuclear Medicine (Radiopharmaceuticals). Fred has been with Toiyabe since 2002. He is married to Michelle, and has two boys, Nathan and Justin. Fred loves hiking, fishing, hunting and listening to contemporary Jazz music.
Gary DiRisio, Pharm D
Gary has been a licensed, registered pharmacist for 32 years. He graduated from pharmacy school with a BS from University of Wyoming, received a doctorate of pharmacy (Pharm D) from Idaho State University, and received an authorized user license for nuclear pharmacy from Purdue/Butler University. He has worked in every aspect of pharmacy (retail, hospital, clinic, mail order, consulting), except manufacturing. Gary has been married for 31 years with two children. He loves to ski, surf, golf, play baseball, basketball, go fishing, hiking, biking (pretty much anything outdoors), and working out and spending time with his family. Although it’s a work in progress, Gary loves to cook (and eat). Gary has worked at Toiyabe since 2011. He enjoys the diversity of the people in our facility, and working with colleagues to improve patient outcomes.

Public Health
Marjoree Neer, PHN, FNP
Marjoree Neer, FNP, joined Toiyabe Indian Health Project in August 2011 as the Director of the Toiyabe Public Health Department. The Public Health Department includes the Community Health and Outreach programs, Elders Nutrition and Caregiving, WIC, and the Special Diabetes Program for Indians. Marjoree graduated from UC Davis and UCLA with Bachelor degrees in Physiology and Nursing. She then went on to get her Master’s degree in Nursing from CSU,Long Beach. She was the lead Nurse Practitioner for the MOMobile Clinic with Stanislaus County prior to moving to the Eastern Sierra where she has lived for 19 years working in both the Mono County Health Department and the Inyo County Health Department. In Inyo County she worked as the Nurse Practitioner for the Family Planning Clinic and oversaw the Maternal-Child Health Program. She has a great interest in supporting families and assisting them to be healthy and resilient. She believes this support both on the individual and community level comes in the form of increasing knowledge, partnerships with families and providers, access to resources and care, and development of policies and systems which meet the needs of families.
